Policy version 2026-10-07-v2Services, revisions & storage
The studio
Most Wanted Audio is operated by Oliver Ponsford, a sole trader trading as Most Wanted Audio, at 94 Armley Road, Leeds, LS12 2EJ. Contact contact@mostwantedaudio.com. This is an online service; studio visits are not offered through this ordering system. Contact hours are 10am–6pm every day, UK time.
Your order and price
Your saved order summary identifies the service, tracks, selected formats and total before payment. Uploading alone is not a paid order. Work is subject to confirmed payment and usable source audio. Contact us before payment for special requirements or timing; requested deadlines are subject to studio confirmation.
Check your audio
Listen to every source and confirm the audio is complete and correct before payment. Stereo mastering accepts WAV/AIFF mixes; mixing projects accept WAV/AIFF stems or ZIP archives. Source audio must be 16/24-bit PCM at 44.1 or 48 kHz. Other formats are blocked by the direct uploader; contact us before booking if your originals use another format. ZIP contents and linked files are checked by the studio. Keep your originals. Source replacement in My Projects is available until we download your audio or begin work. After download, contact us; replacement is normally free if work has not begun. Downloading alone does not mean mastering has started.
Turnaround and delivery
Typical turnaround is 1–5 working days for stereo mastering and 5–7 working days for mixing and mastering, counted Monday–Friday once work can start and usable audio/payment are confirmed. Contact us for weekend or special requests. WAV delivery is included. Selected 320 kbps MP3 copies cost £5 per delivered audio file. References guide the sound and are not mastered deliverables.
Revisions and re-runs
Stereo mastering includes one mastering revision; mixing and mastering includes three revision rounds. An updated stereo mix of the same song can use an available included round. Once the allowance is used, a further mastering re-run costs £15 per track, with scope and fee agreed before processing or charging. Replacement stems, substantial changes and different songs need an individual quote. Corrections of errors introduced by us are free.
Listening and approval
Download and test the masters on your own systems before approval. You can approve manually. Each current delivery is automatically approved seven days after delivery unless submitted revision feedback or a reported problem is outstanding. Feedback pauses approval; revised delivery begins a new seven-day review period. Audio approval does not remove statutory rights concerning faults or cancellation.
Downloads and storage
Delivered audio is normally available for 60 days from that track’s first delivery; revisions do not restart that period. We send one project reminder seven days before its earliest saved download deadline. Keep independent downloaded copies. Extended archiving is £10 per project per additional year, arranged with the studio and recorded with an end date; it is not an automatic subscription. Expiry of access does not mean automatic deletion. Expired audio is reviewed manually; unresolved feedback, problems, disputes or uncertain payments require a hold. Automatic destructive cleanup is disabled.
Consumer cancellation and early work
Where UK consumer distance-contract rights apply, you can cancel within 14 days after the service contract is made. Email contact@mostwantedaudio.com with an unambiguous cancellation statement and project reference; the model cancellation form is optional. You may separately request that work begin during this period. If you then cancel, a proportionate charge for work actually supplied may apply where the required information and express request were provided. You lose the cancellation right on full performance only when the required prior request and acknowledgement are in place. If you do not request early work, work is held until the cancellation period has ended.
Refunds and problems
Contact us promptly with your project reference and details of the issue. Commercial cancellation requests are assessed individually and we explain any amount retained or refunded. This does not exclude, restrict or replace mandatory consumer cancellation, refund or service-quality rights. No automatic blanket refund refusal applies.
Order record
The policy version and your separate early-start choice are saved when checkout is first prepared. Confirmed payment queues a project email containing the accepted service wording and cancellation instructions. No work-start permission is inferred from uploading audio, paying, or accepting the terms alone.
Privacy & your information
Who is responsible
Oliver Ponsford trading as Most Wanted Audio, 94 Armley Road, Leeds, LS12 2EJ, is responsible for the studio’s use of your information. Contact contact@mostwantedaudio.com for privacy questions.
Information and purposes
Enquiries include the name, email and message you provide. Orders also use artist/project names, source audio and filenames, selected service/formats, briefs, references, deadlines, account identifiers, order/payment references, policy acceptance, messages, deliveries, revisions, approval and download activity. We use these to answer enquiries, supply the service, verify payment, secure accounts/files and resolve problems. A download start is not proof that a complete usable file was saved; My Projects offers a separate confirmation.
Legal bases and required details
Requested pre-contract steps and performance of the service contract support enquiries/orders and project communication. Legal obligations support required financial records. Legitimate interests support proportionate security, prevention of abuse and handling business disputes. Optional analytics uses consent. A contact email, usable audio, service details and confirmed payment are needed to fulfil an order; missing information can delay it. Analytics is optional and is not required to contact us or use your projects. Project emails are operational, separate from marketing.
Providers and payments
Wix provides hosting, member sign-in, enquiry forms, checkout and project email. Payment providers handle payment details; our custom project form does not collect card details. Dropbox stores private project audio and workflow records. Render runs scheduled checks against protected endpoints, with aggregate workflow logs. Google Workspace supports studio email; Google Analytics is configured for optional visitor analytics. These providers may process information outside the UK. Contact us for details of applicable transfer arrangements and safeguards; we do not represent that all processing is UK-only.
Retention and review
Unpaid upload drafts expire after seven days. Delivered audio normally has 60-day download availability from first delivery of each track, with separately agreed archive extensions. Availability is distinct from deletion: expired audio is manually reviewed; unresolved feedback, problems or disputes are held. We review enquiry information when the enquiry and follow-up are resolved; account/project messages while needed to deliver/support the service or resolve claims; financial records for applicable accounting/tax requirements; security logs while needed to investigate incidents and prevent abuse. Provider backups may have separate recovery periods. These purpose-based criteria govern review rather than indefinite retention of everything. Contact us to request deletion or ask about a particular record.
Your rights
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests; we consider the request and explain our response. Withdraw optional analytics consent through Cookie choices. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We may need to verify your identity before releasing or changing private project information.
Cancellation information
Email an unambiguous cancellation statement to contact@mostwantedaudio.com, including your project/order reference. Read “Consumer cancellation and early work” above for applicable rights. You can use the optional notice below, but you do not have to use it.
