What to send for mastering

Choose stereo mastering when you are happy with the balance of your mix. If individual instruments still need balancing, mixing and mastering is the more suitable starting point.

  • Export your finished mix as 16/24-bit PCM WAV or AIFF at 44.1 or 48 kHz.
  • Leave headroom and avoid clipping; remove final limiting, normalisation and dithering.
  • Include the artist and song title, release notes and any reference tracks.
  • Listen through the exported file before uploading it.

For other source formats or a dedicated vinyl pre-master, contact us before booking. Vinyl cutting and pressing are arranged separately.

From upload to approval

Create your client account, add your audio and notes, then check the total and pay. My Orders keeps your project, feedback and downloads together.

Send revision notes together in one round. One mastering revision is included per song. An updated stereo mix of the same song can use that included round. Further mastering re-runs cost £15 per track, with the scope and fee agreed first.

Each delivery has a seven-day review period from its first download. Submitted feedback pauses automatic approval; a revised delivery starts a new review period on its first download. Download availability lasts 60 days from each track’s first delivery, so keep your own copies.
